Okay, Basic Application for Characters goes like this:
Name: (Character's full name)
Age: (of character)
Appearance: (see siggy or give brief description)
Job: (pretty much anything goes, and can be arranged)
Gay or Straight: (so we know if to hit on you or not)
PB: (Played By; only for those basing their characters on others)
Also put your character's full name in the Subject heading.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Please create different accounts for different characters. It's just easier that way.
~~
"RP: Roleplaying. An interactive social activity for people with the ability to write and improvise.
Sadly, roleplaying is being invaded by people who can't write OR improvise OR follow common rules of etiquette."
Please read over your post to check for mistakes. Nobody really wants to have to try and decipher what you’re trying to say.
Also try not to be repeditive. Sometimes coming up with ideas can be hard, but talk to the person your threading with in the OOC boards to think of something.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Getting started
There are two ways to get started, firstly you can write an introduction, this is where you introduce your story and your character and leave it open for other people to join, you can have a much or as little information as you like about the plot, you might not even have chosen a plot, in which case it will develop as you progress.
The other way is reading other people's intros or threads and deciding if you wish to join. In both cases you will then have to create a character. But be mindful that threads may be closed, and another character's intrusion might not be appreciated.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Visual triggers are also acceptable, so enter a link in the post to a Photobucket page. Or whatever works for you. You can use links to other people's pages, just don't be stupid enough to claim them as your own.
