Sarah Connor wasn't known for making impromptue field trips. Unless of course they were somehow connected to the mission. But today she and Cameron were taking a trip that had nothing to do with the mission at all. Except that Sarah had decided they needed to gat away. If only for a few hours. Cameron had protested, quite a bit, but Sarah ignored her, and she was now sitting quitely in the truck nexted to Sarah.
Sarah was dressed in dark jeans, long sleaved shirt and brown jacket. Her hair was pulled into a ponytail, some bits hanging around her face.
She pulled up outsite a small barn, where a man was shoveling staw. Sarah killed the engine, getting out of the truck, turning back when Cameron didn't follow.
"Aren't you coming?" Sarah questioned, slightly annoyed. Sometimes Cameron came off more stuck up than she actually was.

Cameron waited for a moment, but deciding that even though Sarah Connor wasn't aways known for making the choices that had to be made, she trusted her. On this anyway. For now. She still didn't know what they were doing out in the middle of the reserve, and the fact that they had pulled up outside of a barn had made her even more confused.
She climbed out of the truck, closing the door behind her. She was dressed in black army style pants, grey shirt and black jacket. Her light brown hair floated around her face.

"Heel, Cameron." Sarah said, smirking slightly. She often teased the terminator, which more then most times, went straight over Cameron's head.
Sarah sighed as Cameron cocked her head, contemplating the comment. "Never mind." Sarah said, motioning for Cameron to follow her.
Sarah took a deep breath as she entered the barn, nodding to the man as she did. It smelled of hay and grass. But mostly of horse. It was a smell that Sarah hadn't been around in a long time, and had missed it alot. She used to ride quite alot. Even here, more than a few times.
She had decided that Cameron need to learn something new, if only to try and knock a bit more humanity in her. Sarah figured horse riding was one way.

Cameron paused at the door, taking in and anaylsing the new smells. She decided that it was strange, but not disspleasing. She made her way to beside Sarah, who reading off a chart.
"What are we doing here?" Cameron questioned.

"We're going horse riding." Sarah replied simply, turning from the chart and moving towards the stalls of horses.
She stopped outside the stall of a tall, black horse. The plate in his door read 'Demero', and as Sarah aproched, he popped his head over the door, sniffing at the air. He whinnyed, bobbing his head at th woman, and she smiled.
"Hey boy. How you been?" She asked, taking his muzzle in he hands and stroking it affectionatly.

Sarah turned to Cameron, keeping hold of temper. "That's not the point." She didn't know how to explain it to the girl, so just shook her head. "It don't matter. Come on."
She left Demero, heading a few stalls down, stopping outside the door of another horse. It was as big as Demero, but amber brown, with a black mane. It sniffed at Sarah as she approched too.
Sarah held out her hand, gently toching his nose with her finger. He nuged at it, and she took a step close.
"Atta boy, Pagan." She soothed, stepping into the stall, tightening his girth and fastening his bridle, before leading him into the isle. She teathed him, returning with Demero a moment later, taking both sets of reins, and leading the pair into the paddock.
She drapped Demero's reins over the fence, taking Pagan to the middle of the arena, motioning for Cameron to come over.
The girl did as Sarah insturcted, though Sarah noticed her movements were more jerky than nomal.
"You have to promise me one thing." Sarah said, catching Cameron's eye. "You have to be gentle. These are living creatchers. You can't hit hurt them more than this." She balled her fist, giving Cameron a small punch in the arm. "Do you understand? Anything more than that, and you will find yourself on the ground."

Cameron cocked her head to one side, not quite understanding why, but understanding the instuctions. "I understand." She said.
