"He can't. I'm holding him." This didn't seem to please Amy, so Jeanne thought of something else. "How about I sit up there and ride behind you?" Stardust was a strong horse, part Shire, and knew he could hold up to three people without strain.

"Okay." Jeanne vaulted up behind Amy, sitting behind the saddle. She was still holding the lead as her control, letting Amy grip the reins. "Now, tap him."

Jeanne shook her head, giving Stardust a kick, clicking with her tounge. He set off at a trot and it only took Jeanne a moment to know that something wasn't right. "Pull him up." She instructed as she jumped down.
She thought for a second before moving to lift up one of him front feet. "Here's the problem." She replied, pulling a hoo pick from her back pocket, using it to dig out a stone that would have been pushing into the tenter fleshy part of the hoof.
"I thought some of my experienced student would be able to prepare the horses properly." She sighed, putting down the foot, tossing the stone out of harms way and slipping the pick back into her pocket. "Okay, he should be better now if you want to trot."

Jeanne nodded, holding Stardust as Amy dismounted. "There is a bubbler just around the corner inside the stable. Sit down for a while if you would like."

Camara tapped Bailey gently in the stomach and nothing happened, she heard Jeanne inform Amy what to do so she tapped a little harder and Bailey began to walk. "Hey I'm doin' it" she cried, but her aunt was too occupied to noticed. Camara pulled the reins sharply to try and make Bailey stop, but it took a few tries, when he did she turned and looked at Amy who was now stoping. She listened as Jeanne taught Amy how to do it properly, she then realsied Amy was ok and Jeanne was in control so she went on a head.
Camara was still far ahead when Amy stopped and got off, "Auntie Jeanne where is Amy going? she isn't leaving is she" she yelled back as she pulled Bailey to a halt.

Jeanne watched Am go, before hearing Carama's voice. She turned, swinging into the saddle easily and troted Stardust smoothly over to Camara and Bailey.
"No. Just a bit shook up. She'll be okay." She smiled, moving Stardust into a walk and encouraging the girl to do the same. "How are you doing?"

Camara frowned in concern over amy's departure "well I hope she'll be ok" she said, "I'm doing splendidly, but I'm not sure how to steer, I've been going in a straight line for a while now"

Jeanne laughed. "Pull the reins in the way you want to go, while pushing with the other leg." Jeanne demistrated, spinning Stardust in a tight circle. "Like that."

Cam watched in fasination as her Auntie turned in a circle with practised ease, then she tried her self following her instructions carefully. "Come on Bailey, lets do this" she whispered to her horse, a moment later she was facing 90 decrees to her left "Yay I did it!" she cried, "now can I try turning and whilst moving" she asked eagerly.
